J.Bonkaz is by far one of the music industry's most prolific up and coming producers. His polished ear, unique drum patterns, chord progressions and deep melodies set him apart from other producers.
Raised in Queens, New York, he gained a strong passion for music at a very young age. He has been playing piano since the age of five and composing hard-hitting tracks since the age of sixteen.
"I have always been around music, so it's like it just comes natural for me."
In 2005, J.Bonkaz landed his first placement with 50 Cent, producing P.I.M.P. pt.2. Around the same time, he decided to relocate to Atlanta, GA to pursue his dream of being a music producer. Since then, he has been building his brand by working with many independent and major artists.
In 2010 J.Bonkaz co-founded Genius Klub, a production team and record company. As a producer, engineer, and song writer he works closely with artists to develop their talents and produce the highest quality sounds. He has an innate ability to hear complex harmonies and help his clients fine-tune their vocals. A recording artist himself, J.Bonkaz understands the attentiveness required to elevate talents in others.

He has produced, written and/or mixed tracks for many artists including 50 Cent, Big Sean, Roscoe Dash, King Los, Chinx, French Montana, Bobby V and more.
He's also appeared on countless mixtapes including some hosted by Kay Slay, DJ Drama, and DJ Scream.
J.Bonkaz is self-motivated. He's not afraid to try different sounds or to pick up a new instrument and teach himself to play. His talents combined with his strong will and determination are exactly why he's next. The goal is set. Nothing will stop him from achieving it.
